“A” is for the Adirondacks, it also seems to be the theme for most of our outings this year.
We started with the Tupper Lake Triad. As we had already done Mt Arab we had only Goodman and Coney to knock off. An early start on Coney Mt ( 2.2miles RT 548’ascent) gets you to the top of Goodman (3.2miles RT 581′ ascent) for an early lunch. This leaves you time to hit Mt Arab (2.2miles RT 764′ ascent) with it’s fire tower in the afternoon.
Once you do all three, stop at Raquette River Brewing on your way into town to pick up your Triad pint glass or shirt.
